Hi there!
I’m a Producer available at the EP or Senior level. I was actively working on freelance jobs until 2024 when I had my first child and simultaneously cared for and lost my mom to cancer. These hardships forced me to relook at life and take some time off from work to raise my child and pursue another dream of mine: owning a farm. While raising an infant and then toddler, I have spent 2 years building an organic farm in Western North Carolina. Building the soil, learning how to care for animals, building infrastructure. We made our first sales this year and will be at the farmers market in the fall.
Objectively, this move has taken me away from the industry and thus hurt my career. If you ask me though, I would say it’s made me more experienced. I have solved the most interesting problems imaginable, worked harder than most people ever do, and have cultivated a more full life because of it. In terms of my past career, I’ve worked at Ogilvy, JOAN, and various agencies in the Publicis network. I have a background in photography but experience doing integrated and broadcast campaigns. I really shine on out-of-the-box jobs that need problem solving. Some of my proudest work was a pro-bono job at JOAN where we created a stunt, filmed, and created an entire curriculum for students about Fentanyl awareness. The Ad Council Substitute Dealer campaign was recognized by Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas 2023 as well as shortlisted for One Show and AICP.
